I went out one day to the local pound in search for a small dog for my nieces to
play when they came over. I had No Luck. On my way home I stopped at the
grocery store. There in plain sight was an add wanting someone to give a home
to two adult dogs and a six month old puppy.  I called the number on the way
home. This Lady, Teresa Beshers wanted a home for her dogs for she was
terminally ill (she has now passed away). I met her to look at them. I only
wanted to take the six month old puppy, but she begged me to take all three of
her Precious Babies. She Did Not want them to go to the pound. The adult
male, was a Lhasa Apso, and the adult female, was a Shih Tzu. The six month
old puppy was a mix from the two, and the Shih Tzu was expecting again. I told
her I would take all three and find homes for the two adults.
Well as time went on I found myself growing more attached to all three of the
dogs. I laughed and laughed at them. I never thought a Dog could be so
comical. Well Low and Behold Sassie (the Shih Tzu) gave birth and I was
Hooked, Line, and Sinker!!! Chuey Edwardo the Lhasa Apso and Pitangas
Sassafras the Shih Tzu were finally parents again of five little chubby bundles.
Four boys and one little girl. The birth of these babies did something to me only
God can explain. I kept the female from the litter and named her, Candie
Christmas Jewel. I also kept Ed, the Lhasa Apso and Sassie, the Shih Tzu. I
gave my sister Reecie the puppy. I bought a solid white male Shih Tzu,
Shagtime Shammy to breed to Sassie and to Candie. This is how ShihLhasa
Luv Puppies began. These Dogs have brought my life so much Joy when I
needed it the most. I Thank Teresa Beshers and The Lord above for giving me
such GREAT DOGS!!!
