My kennel started with three dogs. As time passed God has allowed me to add a few more breeds to my family. This has worked out really well. They have given me a chance to learn more and experience things I never thought possible.

  ***ABOUT US***

    My family and I live ten miles west of  the little town of Saluda, South Carolina.  We are a small hobby breeder.

     My name is Sheila. I'm in the pic at the bottom left with my granddaughters. Our daughter, Misty and our granddaughters,  Cameron and Kaylee are in the picture on the top left. My husband, Homer and granddaughters, Cameron and Kaylee are in the middle picture on left. Our son-in-law is Chad, not pictured. We are a work in progress family and I wouldn't have it any other way. My husband  is the feeder, our daughter is the one that gives baths,and our granddaughters just play with the puppies (they want to take all of them home, but Mom says no!!!!!). That leaves me with helping with the births, giving shots, dewormings, and finding GREAT people to place our puppies with.

    We have been breeding for eight and a half years, as of 2008. I, never in my wildest dreams thought I would be a dog breeder. It has become a passion for me.

                    The Story

   I went out one day to the local pound in search for a  small dog for my nieces to play with when they came over.  I had no luck. On my way home I stopped at the grocery store. There in plain view was an add wanting someone to give a home to two adult dogs and a six month old puppy. I called the number on the way home.This lady, Teresa Beshers wanted a home for her dogs, because she was terminally ill (she has now passed away).  I met her to look at them.  I only wanted to take the six month old puppy, but she begged me to please take the other two also. She did not want them to go to the pound. The male was a Lhasa Apso and the female was a Shih Tzu. The puppy was a mix from these two, and the Shih Tzu was expecting again. I told her I would take all three and find a home for two.

      Well low and behold the Shih Tzu (Sassie)gave birth and I was hooked-line-and-sinker. I kept the female from the litter (Candie Christmas Jewel). I also kept the Lhasa Apso (Chuey Edwardo). He is 11 years old now. Then I bought a Shih Tzu male (Shagtime Shammy). That was eight and a half years ago. It is now 2008. These dogs have brought my life so much joy. I thank Teresa Beshers and the Lord for giving me such GREAT DOGS!!!

   I have puppies in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Korea, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina,  & Washington D.C.. I have met some of the most amazing and caring people during my time of breeding. This has been such a blessing for me and my family.. God has been and still is: GREAT!!!
